Sunday antique fair nearby, free Wi-Fi, terrace to enjoy the view, and a library for literary indulgence. Worth it for shopaholics and nature lovers.
It's a shame I couldn't bring my pet elephant, the no pet policy is so accommodating.

Great value for money. Small but clean room with a balcony. Efficient electric heater warms the room. Brilliant and clean bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location in San Telmo.

The room at Hostel Carlos Gardel had a charming vibe with exposed brick walls, making it feel cozy and unique. I loved the rustic feel it gave to the space.
Personally, I preferred the double room without a balcony as I don't spend much time outdoors.

Great location, close to a popular market and subway station. Easy access to public transportation for getting around the city. The staff was friendly and welcoming, creating a comfortable atmosphere. Plus, the terrace provided a nice space to relax and enjoy the evening.
My experience during New Year's was not very pleasant. The breakfast was not available, leaving me without a meal that I had paid for.

Enjoyed browsing the library, exploring the antique fair, and shopping at San Telmo Market. loved the terrace and the nearby natural beauty. The airport is conveniently close.
So thrilled that no pets or service animals are allowed, their presence would have ruined my stay!

We had a really pleasant stay at a nice hostel in a great area. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The view from the top floor was amazing. We loved the location, right next to the San Telmo market and within walking distance to Plaza de Mayo. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was a supermarket nearby. we would recommend this hostel for its cleanliness, location, and pleasant ambiance.

I really got great value for my money at Carlos Gardel. The room was comfortable with both a ceiling fan and air conditioning. The location was perfect, close to museums, restaurants, and grocery stores. The staff treated me with kindness and warmth.
The breakfast option could be improved with more variety.
